Yes, this is unashamedly one for the girls!
What a fantastic journey ‘I hate Cinderella’ takes you on. Whilst reading this book you can’t help but intertwine your own memories of past relationships and feelings and then be so inspired to use the experience in a positive way....
The book takes you on a journey through part of Lucy Summer's life. It is a time of transition for Lucy as she takes her own journey working through a relationship break-up. As she starts to work through her feelings of her broken heart, you can’t help but reflect on your own experiences and understand the pain and heartache Lucy is dealing with.
At a point in ‘I hate Cinderella’ everything changes for Lucy. She looks at the world, her life and herself in a positive light. She learns to shift her inner-energy positively and attract great things into her life. This is not just a lesson for Lucy but anyone who reads this great book. In the last few chapters you start to feel empowered and motivated and this might just be enough for you to refresh your ideas and goals in life. I even took a moment after reading this book to write down what I was grateful for and what else I would love out of life. Ask, Believe and Receive, such powerful words!
The illustrations by Jovan De Melo are so cute!
I would have loved to have this book during the time of a break-up. It would have given me a fresh new look at the world rather than looking out through my misty eyes! 'I hate Cinderella' was a great read and I definitely got more out of this book that I expected!
Congratulations Amanda Cole on a really great book.
